I hand-reg .org domain in last June and it was a German Airport name who owns and redirect the rest of all major tlds.

The domain wasn't receiving much traffic. average 20 UV monthly. So i decided to sell it in my next clearance sale.

I offer it for $10 and reduced the BIN to $7.5 after a few days. No one bought it. Closed my thread and forgot about it.

This week i received 60 EUR offer for this domain. after a quick reserach, i was sure that offer made by the German Airport.

An auction would be the worst choice for this offer (after the recent Sedo experience) so i decided to counter offer. also, i was thinking that i should be realistic and not greedy if i don't wanna lose this sale.

I countered with 200 EUR .. and guess what ?

They accepted my counter offer within 10mins after i submitted.

Right now i'm transferring the domain to Sedo and i will reveal the name once whois will be updated.

Wish you all Good Luck :)

sounds like a nice way to end the year eg.domains! Who would have thought a domain you would have taken $7.5 for would end up selling for over $200USD..Congrats on that one!

Ever end user sale I've done is at least 10X reg fee. Sales on the forums to domainers maybe 2X reg fee (unless it had some special backlinks, age etc.).

End user means more cash IMHO.

No emails sent.

It's not a good idea to email TM end-users :)
