So will .org keep going up or what?

Seeing how I love the .org extension, I am pretty worried. If they suddenly decide to 3-10x the price, I'm out.

It's not just the higher renewal fees to worry about it, it's the "premium domain" competition that may emerge, whereby (like with new gTLDs) the Registry turns into a "domain scalper" and jacks up reg prices on any .ORG that even resembles a premium.

It is just the average domainer is being squeezed out of the business but at same time current holders may do alright out of it. As domains have been dropped registras have taken over them especially premium keywords. It has gotten to the point where whether you pay more find buyer sooner or find something else. Then again so will milk and bread.
