Since the sale is down and overall, we are looking at a slowdown for some time in domain name investment space, is it a good time to plan for the future and acquire some decent names, in view of say 4-5 years from now?

Names like 4L .com, two-word decent names etc.?

You can check the liquid domains market at ShortNames.com . They have plenty of data ( current auctions/ fixed price/ sales) about 4L/3L/4N/5N/ etc. domains
