There's a domain I really want and I've signed up with Network Solutions for backorder. I've read on this site that it would help my case to sign up with multiple providers. I was planning on signing up with snapnames, but are the two companies related? am I now double ordering if I sign up with both? Also how do I know how many people have bid for it? I haven't seen any tool on NS that tracks the number of bids.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
If it's a very good domain name, there will be hundreds of backorders. Dropcatch and Snapnames catch most good backorders. Then it's an auction. In Dropcatch it's public, in Snapnames, it's private (for backorderers only, although there can be a lot of them as well).

I would not use NetSol unless you must. Go to DropCatch.

Thank you! Do you guys know if snapnames and NetSol have any partnerships/understanding when it comes to domain auctions or backorders?
