I recently registered a Spanish domain name and I'm pretty happy with it. I actually registered it a couple of months ago. I speak very little spanish, but I recognized the words on this one.

I had forgotten about it, then this morning I was reading up on some Sedo sales and came across a similar domain that sold.

Thought I would start a thread for Spanish Domains.

The domain I registered is:
BienGracias.com.

When I entered the domain space over a decade ago I realized I had missed out on the 1990s opportunity in English but thought there might still be some table scraps left over in Spanish. Regardless aftermarket demand for Spanish domains is abysmal - particular outside .COM. Probably two thirds of my portfolio is Spanish but it is smaller than years past as it just does not make sense to hold marginal-quality domains.

I am not planning to invest in any Spanish names.

Have had Juventud.com for over 2 years with zero incoming offers.

Can you imagine how many inquiries would there be, if it were youth.com?

Spanish speaking countries just don't value domains as much.
