its french because there is a supermarket in paris that actually uses this name and uses the .fr domain. I just snagged the .com of it. I researched it. Its based in Paris France so its french. Even french people do hacks for their businesses. ty.

probably a play of words, but really unusual.

We say Supermarché. Rarely supermarket. So supermarquette is super rare and « la » supermarquette even more. I am sorry :(

Lasupermarquette.fr website / boutique is super cute, and definitely oriented towards English speaking tourist. So it is fake French but appealing to English people. I got it.

I'm noticing that people are dropping 1,2,3,7,10 domains on here. Me included.

I'm all for being efficient and a bit lazy lol

But if I may I'd like to add to the rules in this thread.

Please pace yourself. Keep your showcases to ONE domain at a time.

This way each domain can benefit from the showcase.

When you give people a bunch of domains.
You give them too many choices to focus on.

Everyone else who has posted multiple domains per post on here. I'll let those slide.

So let's do one domain at a time please?

If we had done one domain at a time showcase from the start we would have had double or triple or quadruple the replies.

I'd like for this thread to be one of the popular threads on Namepros.

That will only help benefit you and your showcases in the long run.

    Thanks.

    Here's one. Just regged.

    Strakhovaniye.com

"Insurance" in Russian so says Google.

I await to be corrected by a Russian domainer lol

    Lachinoiserie:

Thank you for taking the time to respond, I appreciate it.

Some of those terms I listed come from the French press:

Un euro numérique ? La BCE l'envisage comme "un complément"

Les passeports de santé pour le coronavirus au Royaume-Uni «possibles en quelques mois» Politique

I also see where "carnet de sante" and "passporte sante" are used as well. Thanks for the update.

I guess with this: Qui sait

Qui sait? = Nailed it, congrats! :cat:

You are right, many very recent articles are taking about an Euro Numérique, I wasn't aware. Not sure if it is the finale name, probably not since it will be used across Europe, but this is an interesting gamble for sure. Good call!

I just saw a potential end user for your "Passeport de Santé" = https://passcare.com/

    Cheers.

    So, one at a time.

autofocus.fr which could be use for photography related stuffs, as well as automobile oriented websites. In France we are using "focus", as well as many other English words. That's my only .fr domain name.

edit: not really non-English... Let me find another one...

otarie.com the French for sea lion. I find it very brandable. It is pronounced: O-T-A-R-I I had a mascot made for it: (sorry cannot find the resizing option...)

It looks like French, but it seems only (or at least mainly) used in the US? Like Suave and debonair.

I never heard about it before. But it sounds good, I like the rythme.
