    No, it's due to the extended $1 sale on .online names. Same thing happened with .xyz. For them it was enough to bring them into the top 20 most used TLDs, so who knows! Maybe one day .online will be as popular as .biz or even .info!

    From KPMG; 55% of people will search online for reviews and recommendations before making a purchase, with 47% visiting the company website, 26% checking out the physical store, and 23% of people talking with friends and family.

    lol......info and .biz have been around for over 20 years (started in 2001), and they NEVER caught on like .online will:xf.wink: Since the first of the year .online has been gaining ground on .xyz as well:xf.wink:

    Note, i needed to get a new remote camera for my antique Dell Computer because one of my Kiwanis brothers said I looked like crap viewing me through the $17 camera I'd bought last year for our weekly zoom meetings. So I broke down and bought a new camera for $50 online at Office Depot, and when we met yesterday the first comment was Morris.....you look great:xf.cool: Thus LookGreat.online(y)

    BiasWarning.online

    Realizing that everyone is BIAS, i've always thought that like smoking and tobacco, ALL MEDIA whether it be conservative or liberal should display a clear warning similar to; "What you are about to read/hear is BIAS"

    Furthermore, schools need to be teaching our youth about human bias as fair and objectively as possible.

    Note, here are a few more .online registrations;

    BiasAlert.online
    BoneHead.online
    GuestSpeaker.online
    SpeakerBureau.online

    Both GuestSpeaker.online and SpeakerBureau.online have equivalent .com's, but they're really not available to purchase unless you're a fool and have more money than you know what to do with:xf.wink:

    I thought these registrations were a joke. Nope.

    Come on man. Bias Warning, Bias Alert, Speaker Bureau...these are terrible domains.

    I see you registered Bias Warning in .com as well. The fact it was available to register in 2021, with more than 150m+ .COM, is a bad sign when it comes to valuation, especially in .Online.

    I suggest you check out Andrew Allemann's Domain Name Wire about Swetha Yenugula and here 600K sales of .xyz names before you're so critical......and she doesn't do "outbound" to the best of my knowledge.

    Note;

    .online is catching up to .xyz for some unknown reason:xf.rolleyes:

    Brad....did you see this:xf.wink: from Domain Name Wire?

    "Domain name investor Swetha Yenugula has found success in an area that many domain investors haven’t: new top level domains. Specifically .xyz domain names.

    Yenugula has sold over 300 .xyz domain names. She says the median price is about $2,000 for roughly $600,000 in revenue. Some of her recent sales include"

    Please note, I don't own this name, but the OP does not specify that showcased names must be currently owned, so I am showcasing .online names that I think have a great message!

    I think this name would be perfect for promoting how .online is not yet as good or popular as .biz, but it could one day reach those lofty heights!

    Great observation, Rich. If this is the same domain investor that regularly posts their .xyz sales on the reported sales thread, then you should go check them out.

    She's quite a savvy investor who has purchased a vast quantity of short, often single-word .xyz names. It's a great model to follow, and one that most ngTLD investors typically recommend.

    If you were investing in short, single word .online names at $1 each, I'd say you could be on to something.

    The other brilliant thing that the person in this article did: she kept her strategy to herself.

    So again, great job calling attention to this. You'd be wise to follow these lessons.

    I posted earlier in this thread that about 10 to 20% of my .online domains are single word domains, but it seems you conveniently forgot that:xf.eek:

    You may want to go to Swetha's portfolio at the Dan brokerage and check out her entire portfolio where she also owns lots of two word domains very similar to mine.

    It's really sad that you dislike me so much that you have an incurable need to discredit my domain strategy unless it mirrors yours. You may wish to note that i NEVER, not ONCE criticize your strategy.

    Remember Joe.....there's ALWAYS a better way(y)

    Criticize away! I'm always open to constructive discussion.

    You should note, though, that I don't create threads to promote my strategies and ideas, ask for feedback from others, and then insult those who don't agree with me.
    Rich, I think that as a domainer, you might just be on the brink of joining the MillionairesClub.online with these names!

    (Word)Club.Online. I can't say I have seen that format registered before.

    Most people would chose (Word)Club.com or even (Word).Club.

    I didn't even realize half of those clubs exist. :xf.grin:

    Best of luck.

    Brad...the reason you didn't realize these clubs existed is because you didn't check. Everyone of them have a .com equivalent that no one can afford. And most of them have an .xyz equivalent. As a result of the pandemic most clubs of any kind have been meetiing "online" My Kiwanis Club in Virginia Beach meets online every Thursday morning. Maybe you might want to join us. Our motto is "Serving the Children of the World" in case that's something that appeals to you.

    Don't be fooled by thinking that a high asking price for a domain name makes it valuable. The fact that these matching .com names are taken and up for sale is more or less meaningless.

    Brad has a prior commitment as a guest speaker at my Yachts For Tots awareness campaign every Thursday.

    Joe....i'm really glad you, Brad and the domain coach follow me.....to me it only adds to my credibility:xf.wink:

    The following are three new .online domains I registered just today. I think I know why names like these just pop in my head, and it has to do with both my business and life experience which you give zero credit to.

    PrimeProperty.online - .com Valued @ GD for $14,029 - no website connected and no asking price
    PrimeCommercial.online - .com valued @ GD for $5,703 - parked at GD, but not for sale
    PrimeResidential.online - .com valued @ GD for $3,441 - Huge Domains asking $8,495 or 36 x $235.97

    Joe....i'm not "fooled" into thinking that a high asking price for a domain name makes it valuable...are you?
    In your attempt to discredit me you say; "The fact these matching .com names are taken and up for sale is more or less meaningless":xf.rolleyes: For you maybe Joe, but not for me. The fact they're not available and not affordable is one of the best sales tools ever for me because I have an attainable affordable solution:xf.smile:

    This is all for now Joe....do your best to shoot holes in my strategy realizing I'm on to you. Gotta go...i've wasted enough of my prime time online with you.

    Then shouldn't you be making some sales?

    I'm interested in a couple aspects of your strategy:
    1. You said you don't need to renew all your names. How many are you planning to renew when the time comes?
    2. After trying this experiment of holding hundreds of domains for the year and not renewing them, will you start being a bit more selective with your registrations, by ensuring you only buy names that are worth renewing?

    Oh Joe....am I suppose to report sales to you? I didn't know that:xf.rolleyes: As for your other questions;

    1. it's none of your business
    2. see #1

    In case you and your friends need money here are a few more names I registered;

    LoanMoney.online
    LendMoney.online

    and because searching your ancestry online is a pretty big deal;

    AncestrySearch.online

    and a few single word domains:

    Filibuster.online
    Capiche.online:xf.wink:

    Note....most of the good 3 and 4 letter words are already taken, but you already knew that:xf.smile:

    I know, because you think I have an agenda. But if I did, wouldn't that make for a great discussion? Debating with someone who favors an opposite viewpoint to your own is often an excellent way to flesh out your ideas and strategies.

    I'm a fan of outbound marketing, but I really enjoy discussing it with others here who consider it to be spam, or to be a waste of time. Those discussions have helped me to refine my outbound strategy quite a bit.
