Hi everyone the search states tours into Google gets 30,000,000 results does this mean these domain names are any good?

statestours.org - registration price
statestours.info - registration price
statestours.eu - registration price

I am new to domain names and i'm lookint to invest and wondered whether you think I should invest in these available domain names. Are they worth their registration price?

Never post your domain names that you are interested in registering in a forum.

The reason for that is simply because people might grab those domains before you do and you might miss a great opportunity. :)

Hopefully a moderator will edit that before its to late :)

You can edit your own posts to delete the listed names.

In this case I would NOT register these names. When you use google, put quotes around the phrase when gauging how often a phrase is used:

"states tours" returns 31,300 pages, called SERP's
states tours returns 31,000,000 pages

The figure domainers would use would be the 31,300 figure, not the 31,000,000 figure.

Personally, i would register if it's one word only.

If you posted the domain names in a domaining thread, and they are still available then no :)

I agree - makes sense.

'Domainers' are hawks, if it was good - and not registered, surely someone would have snapped it up.

But it's hard to find good, or really good, domains that are hand registrations. So whatever you hand register will ultimately have to be developed, marketed, promoted, seo, etc. to have any value at all.

I am not going to say hand regging is a waste of time, since some people are very good at it. But I find scanning through lists of expired domains much more effective. When you look at a list you can be the judge of domains instead of having to actually come up with the domain out of thin air like with hand regging.

I can't say I have the magic formula for coming up with a good hand reg name nailed down. I will say I'm getting closer, and I'm positive it doesn't involve pulling the names from thin air. More like the right combination of tools, keyword lists, luck and intuition.
