Hi investors,

This is a highly competitive and niche extension but if I find a good name which match with this extension and makes a meaningful name... Is it worth to invest?

For me the problem is because it is .company extension which is not familiar and popular. But it match with today's market demand as the number of startups is increasing.

I wouldnt use .company if you paid me!

Stick with .com,
not .company

go with your gut, check out namebio.com and see how many .company domains have sold, then look at all the .com domains that have sold and make your decision wiser. ty. gl.
Yes, I have checked the past sale and history of this keyword. It is not up to mark. There is nothing in terms of history of this name.

After creating this thread, I decided to once check the past sale of .company, after seeing the records I decided to not touch this extension again.

While the .company extension does have one very high profile user (check out X.company – no it is not Elon Musk related), and there have been some .company sales, not a lot of high-value ones besides the single letters.

Also, when I checked the status of NameBio listed sales in the extension for $1000 + I see that quite a few of them are listed for sale again.

When I used the Google site: command it shows just over 3 million results – a pretty low number for an extension.

I have 2 names in the extension that I registered years ago, and always wonder if they are worth keeping. I would only hand register more if the term was really good (and of course only if the renewal was not registry premium).

Exactly, I think the .company does not have more value in market because companies and other big organisation uses either .com or .co, I also seen there is no big sale related to .company.

If one word .company is not highly recognised then how we can expect from other length name with this extension.

This extension is stuck under highly competitive field and his competitors are .com and .co which are highly preferred or even .org is taken to their business.
