SEO of parked domains - Parking noob

I'm new to parking (in fact, just created a Sedo account today) and was wondering how to increase traffic. I get the impression from reading around Sedo that the traffic I get (or will get) from my domains will be "natural traffic". By that I understand that people go into the url and type in www.parkeddomain.com and up comes the parked domain ready to take any click throughs.

However, I'm wondering if Sedo also puts a sitemap on the domain and sumbits it to say, google or yahoo's bots for indexing. I have read around and have been unable to find info on this. Does anyone know? If so, how do you guys/girls get it indexed?

Sedo doesn't put sitemap for domains. Base on my past experience, domains that parked on the Sedo do get index. (You may search for this domain - video.cd in Search Engine.)

There is nothing much you can do with Sedo parking in terms of SEO. I had switched to WhyPark, which allow me to put my own articles, add the meta tag and change the web layout. And all of my domains get indexed by Search Engine too!

if your current domain have existing traffic from type in, then you may park it, parking will not develop your site, you have to choose between the 2: either park or develop but not both.

since it's a park domain, sitemap are not logical to be placed, otherwise if you want it to be indexed more, you need to develop it.

Thanks for that cdboyz and weblord. I knew about the choice to either park or develop, which are mutually exclusive choices. However, I thought that parking with Sedo I could get exposure in google to get hits from not only natural type-ins into the URL bar at the browser, but also from people searching similar terms on google/yahoo and my parked domain coming up somewhere in the results. I guess I need a bit more control than Sedo allows to be able to do that, like boyz says he does with WhyPark.
