events Sedo just banned Russian accounts: how this is not racism?

You know what, I am sick about this "hate russians" thing.
So, sedo just banned russian accounts. In light of this, I would like to ask @Sedo:

1)War in Ukraine is going on since 2014. During this period, Ukranian forces has been bombing pro-russian cities on the east of the ukraine: total 14,000 people killed according to OSCE. Why @Sedo would not ban ukranians as well?

2)Is it racism to ban accounts based on people nationality?

3) If it's not racism, why would not you ban:
a) all NATO member accounts for NATO Invasion of Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya?
b) All German accounts because Germany killed 25,000,000 russians in 1941-1945?
c) Ukrainian accounts because ukranian forces were bombing pro-russsian cities in Ukraine 2014-2022 (see 1).
d) All people from Antarctica, just to make the point?

And please don't "we cannot guarantee payment processing with Russian and Belarusian business partners". There are a lot of russian and belarussian banks which are not under sanctions.

Well, there are about 300 banks in russia, and only about 10 are out from SWIFT. So, I don't think that is such a big issue.

Definitely not all are banned, just 10 of 300. And I don't see why SEDO would not work with the rest 290. Yes, foreign currency withdraw from russia is blocked currently, but this is the case only for personal accounts: one cannot withdraw $ from russia to a personal account in a foreign bank. But one can pay $ for services, domains and so on, also receiving to russia is allowed.

The funny thing about this situation is that the reasons these silly companies give is that it goes against their values & they don't support violence..

Yet they haven't banned USA, UK, Israel, France, Indonesia and many more for their very recent roles in bombings/oppression..

The most crazy one I saw though was when the supermodel Gigi Hadid who is of Palestinian heritage made an Instagram post condemning the bombing of Ukraine and vowed her paycheck to help Ukraine and Palestine humanitarian efforts..

Guess what, vogue magazine & many news outlets entirely erased her mention of Palestine and many Jewish people attacked her for bringing it up. She said she's pledging to both and they reported it as "Gigi Hadid pledges to Ukraine".

So a person whose family fled Palestine decades in the same war situation as now, posts support for Ukraine and reminds people of what her family fled in Palestine, but the hypocrite media who claims to care about innocent civilians dying totally erased her mention of Palestine who still suffers today under Israeli occupation..

Anyone with a brain can see the agenda at play. And people who always claim antisemitism about anything that criticises the actions of people with Jewish heritage don't realise that Palestinians are actually Semitic and most Jews who are actually of European convert origin from centuries ago are not by definition..

Sanctions are an issue, but there are more than just sanctions involved...it is also more than just politics.
Russia is just toxic to deal with at the moment.

The "self-sanctions" Russia has decided to implement like limiting foreign currency withdrawals and other similar decisions have turned business away. Many businesses are pulling out by choice, many others are pulling out for practical reasons. The sanctions and other issues make business there untenable.

Unfortunately as this plays out, and Russia's stock market, assets, and currency considers to crumble, Russia will likely default in short order. The entire idea to launch a full scale invasion of Ukraine was a massive folly and it is hard to see a good outcome from this.

I think that NATO understands this, therefore they are not imposing no-fly zone.

So, let's imagine that you are right about US, UK, France bombings, so they should have ban themselfs? You should have asked Russia why they were not banned. So, if tomorrow EU and US will stop 100% trading with Russia, who can force them? You can't force somebody to deal with you, if they don't want to.

First, did you checked how many nazi's are in Russia? Did you checked how many communists are in Russia? What everybody should do, invade Russia to liberate them?
About NATO, nobody it's invading Belarus or Kazakhstan because they are in allience with Russia, the same as nobody invaded Cuba because of this. Second, they are not NATO bases, they are just upgrading ports, to fit NATO ships, to let them use them, again ukrainians ports, not russians, so not their business.

The US/NATO (and others) alliance is certainly not scared. Their military power dwarfs Russia many times over in manpower, equipment, and technology. At the same time we are trying to avoid WW3 because a countries invasion is going poorly and their economy is collapsing.

If you implement a no fly zone, if means you have to enforce it. It is hard to envision that not leading to a much broader war.

Back to the subject of this post. It is unfortunate what has happened to Russian citizens because of the countries recent actions, but I can't really blame private companies for making decisions that are best for them.

It just shows hypocrisy & how cunning these media/political organizations are. It's the same hypothetical scenario of a known serial killer being the prosecuting judge in a murder case, who publicity condemns the murder with an emotional performance of why murder is bad, then sends the killer to jail while being guilty of multiple murders themselves that same day.
