Sedo actually have a sale every second?

Hi,
I went to the auctions tab on Sedo, and it says there the following:

"The largest number of interested buyers worldwide: every second domain sale is completed using Sedo"


Is it a legitimate claim? sale every second sounds too much...

Would love to get some insight from you.

The only way to support a claim like that would be to have a figure for annual known domain name sales and for Sedo to publish a figure for their own annual domain name sales.

And would you include sales on Godaddy auctions? Godaddy closeouts?

I guess you could filter on Namebio by sales venue, but that is only reported sales.
