I don't know what's going on. That thread about stolen domains is scurring me.

I have all of my domains parked at sedo (for a few months now) today none of them are working (either 404 page or yahoo search page comes up)

when I try to whois myself on register.com this comes up:

"The name that you searched on is not taken but is available for your registration. "

I have them registered at godaddy and it still shows up as me on the registrar there... but what gives?

here are some examples...

mindjolt.com
christreturns.com

Are they coming up as parked on sedo for you? Have I been hijacked? Please comfort me. Anyone else having odd domain behavior?

Both coming up as Sedo for me.. You might wanna check your PC for spyware though.

Thanks for the help. Not sure why it's happening. Now I don't need to call the FBI and CIA...............yet.

Use internic.net to check if the domain is registered or not. That's the Verisign registry for .COM and .NET.

Too many registrars give false reports on availability. Yes, even Register.com and Network Solutions. I've found eNom to be pretty reliable with availability. If you try to register a domain there it is accurate in my experience, even if the domain was just registered a minute ago at another registrar.

Yes, does sound like spyware redirecting domains. It also could be an adblocker that you installed that has classified sedo parking pages as advertising. (Zonealarm for instance)

I thought the newer versions can update your Windows 'hosts' file to block access to domains that serve advertisements.
