Rss feeding of bookmarking accounts is useful or not?

Rss feed submission is helpful in getting backlinks and also gives you some traffic.I have a question

1) How much it is useful to submit Rss feeds of bookmarking accounts (like twitter, stubmleupon etc) in rss directories.

2) Have anyone tried this and how you got benefit from this activity?

If you are submitting your bookmarks the only way it will help your main site is by getting your bookmarks indexed which than helps your site. It highlights the often overlooked factor in all these bookmark decisions. If your bookmarks are never indexed they pretty close to useless.
