Here we go!

The .RS extension stands for Serbia, Europe.

It is mostly being used for domain hacks (answe.rs being the highest sale at $20k from what I remember) but it also means life in chinese.

The lowest registration fee I found is at Plus.rs (no english site but works well with google translate) and it costs 1920 Dinar which is about $17 per registration. But there are other local sites (in English) which cost just above $20.

There are still a lot of available short domains, numbers and letters and from what I understood there is no restriction whatsoever for registering or transferring a domain (no wait time to tranfer, can be same day as regged).

Besides two domain hacks transfe(.)rs and tracto(.)rs I just registered a few short domains:

Not for me ... I have the money locked into something else right now and I only sold one .RS
...well the truth is I only had them for 2 weeks or so - I can't expect buyers right away for all my domains and I didn't put them on auction...

How did your transaction go? Was the push and whois change not too difficult?

It was the only one I had with Plus.
It went fine from my side - the buyer was from Serbia and he did most of the work. I only got a mail in English to confirm.
He also got the domain for cheap because he asked me nicely and I liked what he said he's planning to do with it.
Plus Serbia is a neighbor country with my country and I've always appreciated everybody there.

just for curiosity, can u update us all here on status of yoru LL and NN domains?

do they sometimes drop? how to know when or which are dropping or these are so in demand in your extension that u never even announce them here, like u do for dictionary words hacks etc?
