you know the dealio, it's an attempt to revive the usage acceptability that fiverr achieved, with the hope of selling the "select" to trickle down bandwagon jumpers.

Not that I use fiverr, well once and the service was shocking as you would expect. This was some years ago and I was searching fivrr, fivar, etc; you get the idea.

I have one 5L beginning with rr but I won't be going for this extended letter malarkey.

Although, I understand BB is excepting such names, but what does that mean?

I think they sell well as a cheap alternative to the correct spelling that many smaller startup can not afford - I sold Editorr through BB for a fraction of what Editor would cost
