Note on this sale:
I really liked the name as it reminded me of a line Hans Gruber says in Die Hard "...we'll be sitting on a beach earning 20%". Had thought of potentially developing it as a travel agency white label.

Domain was rejected from SH before being submitted and accepted at BB. Went live beginning of August and sold after 3 weeks.
After it had sold I put the name in the domain appraisel section on namepros to see if people felt it was good or not, response was mixed.
Just writing this as a reminder that domaining is very subjective. Even if a name has been rejected from SH or other people don't think its great, in the end all that matters is if you genuinely really like it or not. If you do, the chances are someone else will as well.

As a result of this sale I'm officially a profitable domainer!

Major drawback with large portfolio is management specially making sure to price it correctly. during jan 2021and feb 2021 respectively i undersold 2 domains because of wrong pricing by mistake.
One sold for just 499 at afternic
Other sold for 650 euro at dan which meant approx 700 USD in those days
Good thing both were handregs
Afternic one was less than one year handreg
Dan one was handreg plus one renewal

After a very slow summer I was extremely pleased to finally see a sale. I've had previous interest in this domain name (a $2k offer and a $500 offer that I declined), so it's not a huge surprise that it sold. Will be interesting to see who the buyer is.

Here's one of the same category I have been always posted sales from, as 95% of my domains are drops.

But notably such domain "doesn't really exist" because "no good name will ever be left at drop", and "You're not selling anything" as some "smart" folks said around here:
