This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

Do not post only, "great sale" or similar as this doesn't contribute to the thread. (Don't reply for the sole purpose of complimenting.)
  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

P/e/p/p/e/r/D/a/d/d/y in dot com for $300.

Handregged less than a month ago. I was thinking of starting a hobby blog about hot peppers, decided against it so that I'm not spreading myself too thin, didn't have it listed for sale anywhere but an offer landed in my inbox for $250, countered at $375, sold it an hour later for $300.

Yes, nice flip. When I saw this domain on sale for 5$, I immediately knew that here is potential name and I checked how many extensions are taken etc and bought it and placed to auction.

I sold e/-/s/p/o/r/t/s (with a hyphen, but without the /s of course!) in the .icu extension for $128 about a week ago. That was my BIN price. Was inbound with the domain having been promoted on my website and also my blog, and the actual transaction was done via Namecheap Marketplace (who keep 10% as commission, and handle payment processing and act as escrow in the transfer). I had bought it in early July for registration fee as a standard .icu (not premium price) so had it less than 2 months. I see that the domain is already in use by the end user for a Wordpress based information site.

I missed by a week having the first reported resale in the extension (two were reported on NameBio the week before for just under $200 each).

I probably asked too little, but .icu is just getting established and you can still pick up some great names at the $78 premium level, so felt had to compete with that. Without the hyphen would have commanded more obviously. I am happy with the name, given that I only had it a couple of months and registered it at a big discount.

In the past I have not reported my sales except in a coded form on my website where I show sales from previous 12 months on a rolling basis (with * replacing all letters except first and last, and without price details) but decided to report this one, and may continue in future. Since there are so few sales in icu yet, I thought this might be of general interest. Hope to sell some of my other single word .icu at similar prices!

Great Sale! Congrats

Do you leave all your Efty landers with no minimum offer prices?

In 2017 I got inspired by the domain name "trust work". My mind frame was deep into the logistics space at the time so I registered the name f/r/e/i/g/h/t/t/r/u/s/t/.com

I took a leap of faith and contacted a potential buyer and the deal went waaaaaaaay beyond smooth. I told him a price and he instantly agreed. It was a once in a life time sale.
