If you search for this domain you can see he offered it much cheaper in the past. Good name though.

Absolutely fantastic purchase, MapleDots. There are very few domains of this caliber in our wonderful extension. Sales like these further solidify trust, and value in .ca as a whole.

    Congratulations on your new home!

Look at my comment below the logo in red.

Hopefully you see my vision.... a red dot with ca in the middle, that is the logo.
Look at my avatar, replace the maple with a ca

    Another possibility

Everything revolves around a red dot and ca

I get your vision and appreciate creativity, but it's like being transported to an experiment where one is being told that black is white and white is black until one starts believing in it

Current placement of colors reduces the maximum impact of the red as a concept. Instead of playing the leading part it's now in a bystander role.

One of our members is working on this and for sheer simplicity it is just marvelous.
Understated to the point of classy.

There will be several logos but this one speaks volumes by what it does not say.

The branding of the NEW red.ca is beginning (y)

If I were the owner, this would be my logo:

    .ca

Here is why: since the color of the dot is red, you'd automatically read it as red dot

And the beauty of it: I just drew this logo without any software ) Super simple, memorable and meaningful.

HeHe.... where were you before I spent the money on logo design?

Truthfully..... I actually really like your idea (y)

You are welcome ) My shortcoming is I am not well versed with graphics software. That is why I draw my logos on paper, scan and give to a designer to digitize it.

I like when there is a story behind the logo, or hidden meaning that once you get it you have an "aha" moment and think "well, that was witty"...

You can still use this along with the other paid logo )
