UDRP QW.com UDRP involves brazen fraud attempt

A UDRP filed at the WIPO by a “Williams Fred” attempted to take control of the domain QW.com, passing off as the domain’s real owner, Fred Williams. QW.com is owned by Quickware and its representative, Fred Williams, is the Respondent in the UDRP.
It might sound comedic but it’s not. The WIPO panelist gathered information showing attempts made by the fake “Fred Williams” who used a Gmail address to claim that the domain is in fact stolen and under the control of a “hacker.”
