Quick question about phpbb.

Do the Cash and Shop hack for phpbb work like the NP$ system and ushop here at Namepros?

The cash system is basically the same, but I would say the shop hack is pretty different. I definitely prefer the uShop, but the phpbb shop does work.

i haven't really tried either, its just what I have set up for people in the past. Basically they are the same, they are there to provide the same function. Hope this helps

Yes that helps. Thanks for the info guys. I was wondering cuz I am interested in installing it on my forum when/if I decide to set it up. If I do I want those hacks added. And it would be awesome if it worked liked NamePros. Another question...what Items are in the store for phpbb? I know I can add items but what is there anyway? Change title, username, etc?

I dont know of any cash mod for phpbb that functions like namepros . They will give you points and you can donate but thats about it . You cant purchase for real money or add it to a bank and accept offers like namepros. There is a band mod but does not function like this.

not too sure about the items thing. I know there aren't any items in there when you install it.

about the bank thing, I don't think that it would be very hard to do a bank mod... all you need is a form that connects to a paypal page, and hey presto! :hehe:
