Hi to all,
I have some questions regarding who is data of domain name which are:
* When we analyze who is data of any domain what key things should we consider like ip address, hosting etc.
* If privacy is off then how buyer can trust us that our who is data is correct or not.
* how whois data of domain can play a part regarding domain purchasing decision.
Thanks for reading.

The Whois data isn't particularly useful these days. If you live in the EU then the registrar is not allowed to provide your personal information under any circumstances due to GDPR. So if you live in the EU it doesn't matter whether you want Whois Protection or not, you're going to have it.

But most registrars provide Whois Protection for free.

They can't. Back in the day, when Whois Protection was a paid service across all registrars, people with large domain portfolios would list proxy addresses and emails just to avoid the spam.

Just send out an email or make a call and see if they answer.

If the Whois Protection is off, and you see a proper email or phone number you may get in contact with the owner. If you have their name and address you may also look them up in the white pages.

Keep in mind that both a phone call AND an email may make the most sense. Otherwise, your email may simply end up in the spam folder or being filtered completely and never reaching that contact. So the phone call could alert the seller to check their emails, including the spam folder.

ALSO, if you are really interested in a domain, sending a letter via the postal service may be helpful. That would show more evidence that you are truly interested. And a nice letter might help increase your chances of a reasonable purchase price.
