How much you think it will cost to register a .web .news .today domains ???

We know that there are a bunch of new gTLDs coming up in 2013 and the following years as well.

My question is that how much do you think the .web & .news & .today domains will cost to register per domain ?

I don't think it will cost more than a .net or a .org (maybe about 5$)

But what do you think ? and how sure are you ?

There is no one sure because these extensions have not even been delegated to the winning registry. Google winning vs Donuts winning vs Frank Schilling Uniregistry winning will probably make a big difference to pricing.

Unless Google adopts a free domain policy tied to other Google products, I doubt any tld will be $5 more like $15 to $50. These extensions will for the most part not be for domainers to reg and flip.

I think with these new tlds, there will be a money grab especially the first couple years. Prices may come down after that. I would be surprised to see any going for less than $10 to start, or anywhere near that really. Also, I expect the premium names to be held back and go for premium prices.
