Question about .be

Does anyone know anything about these .be extensions? are they worth looking into or buying or just better off leaving them alone?

no, I meant the registration for them was free as a promotion :P

So, although the TLD isn't that old, there are alot of .be's registered. Most, I guess, will be dropped by those who just registered em for free

I don't have a clue whether they're worth looking at, and am interested too :P

Only if you can get really good names. I still have some free .be myself.
I think the last batch of free .be will expire at the end of January 2007.

I have some .be domains and already sold one for $xxx. I will renew a few of them and let others drop.

It depends... if they fit the TLD and are in the right language(s) they may be worth something. If you list them I could give you my opinion.
I have some .be myself and they are selling just like other ccTLDs. $$$ sales are common.

Initially there were offered free so I guess not much in terms of value. But I think your decision should be based on the name and how you intend to use it.
