I've been trying to buy a specific dot com for about 2 years. It was owned by a family business and they stopped using the domain 5 years ago.
The owner has it listed on Sedo and also Go Daddy Auctions. I've bid multiple times but get no response from the owner. The domain has had no traffic for 5 years. It's a family name.
I've bid $300 with no response. I've messaged the owner and asked him/her how much they want for it. No response.
Any suggestions on how to get a response?
(I'm guessing that I have a good chance of getting it through an ICANN dispute process since it's a my family name. That's the expensive route. I'd rather purchase it for $300 or $400 if I have to. The owner sells full time and owns hundreds of names. He has also lost every ICANN hearing that were filed). Any ideas are welcomed.
Thanks
