Hi guys,
I bought a single word .co (probation dot co)
for $xx if I remember well! on estibot it valued at $2000 but I don't usually base on this tool, hoping am not misunderstood here as am not saying its not good, sure its useful.

I have received an offer of mid $xxx, but not yet my best as I think it much more than that. what's your say?

I think it might be of a
good value in 2-3 years that's if am to hold it. within this period i think the domain will appreciate in
value to over x,xxx.

Your advice and opinion is highly welcome.

If I receive a mid $XXX offer for that name, I would take the offer immediately. To be honest, I do not see a reason why someone would offer more than that for the name. It is a single word, but it is a .CO and the word is not necessarily great for business...

Also think about that fact that you paid $xx and you are being offered mid $xxx now.

So lets say you paid $99 and you are getting $500 now...thats a good ROI, if you accepted the offer and then reinvested that $500 into more domains, then in 2-3years time how much do you think you could have turned that $500 investment into? - instead of holding on this domain for 2-3 years hoping that you could sell it for $xxxx :)

I know domainers tend to believe that there is a million dollar deal ahead and I will admit I have sold domains for one price and almost immediately gotten better offers. That said, it's a reasonable offer. I would take it and never look back. It's not a million dollar domain. A good one, but not spectacular. On to the next.

Thanks all for your advice, I like taking risks in auctioning I want to try out this very domain in NP auction.
I declined the offer when I first received it and suggested upper XXX which he also declined.

Any comment on this before I open the thread

You wont get a mid $XXX offer in NP. Since its a .co, its better to cash out with that offer you received . The decision is yours.. Good Luck..

You have take hard decision for cctld domain. if you have nice offer let it go or hold and wait for the better offer. few months ago i registered a 4L .in CVCY domain and last month received an offer of £450 but i thought this name could be much more valuable and i counter offer him £780 and the buyer never returned.. .! So take it or leave it..! Good Luck...!

you are way to greedy. Take the money before you cry for not getting another offer like that. The domain is not even that great

LOL, you should improvise your wording " Greedy " . That's what we do in domaining. The domain name is your property and you have right to ask whatever your want but you are right at some point. the value calculation is high for this kind of cctld.
