well I can already tell you that I`m extremely pissed off by your way to handle this:

Bid Thread for pnk.mobi:

---------------------------------------------
Date:
Bidding:
Offer:

04/11/07 Desired Price: 60 USD

04/11/07 Your Offer: 60 USD

04/11/07 Seller´s Counter Offer: 600 USD

04/14/07 Your Offer: 160 USD

Negotiations On hold 04/20/07 Auction Running

------------------------------------------------------

So you asked $60 , I offered you $60 and you reply asking me $600!!!

That is RIDICOULOUS ! An worst of that is that with my $160 offer you take it to auction, which shows now that I offered $260 when I just offered $160......which I don`t get it but at the end I can tell you, keep the name because I certainly am not going to pay someone who act like that.

I'm not quite sure this post was appropriate in the marketplace but two thoughts. First, are you sure you are the highest biider? It would seem to me that there was another offer of $260 that was sent to auction.

Second, announcing yourself publicly to being a fraudulent buyer will not make you any friends here at NP.

Yumi, good luck with your auction!

First: that name is on auction ONLY thank to me because yes I`m the only bidder so far. So I think I have the right to express my opinion on this auction.

Second: I am not a fraudulent buyer, I just don`t like to be joked. He asded $60 and he countered me with $600 ??? What is that?

Good luck with your sale yumi.

PS: 60$ for pnk.mobi? Let's calm down a bit.

Edit:Italiandragon: your offer was made on 04/14/07; check how many days are remaining? I believe that it's not your offer that sent it to auction.

If the Sedo system changed your bid then you need to contact them to ask them what is going on.

When you say "....but at the end I can tell you, keep the name because I certainly am not going to pay someone who act like that." you are basically saying you will not follow through on your commitment to buy the name. That is what I call fraudulent.

From what I understand with Sedo, all first bids must be $60. If the seller had set a fixed price of sixty dollars then you would have been the successful buyer. But from what it sounds like to me, your $60 bid started a negotiation allowing the seller to counter offer.

If he was asking $600 instead of $60 I would not have wasted my time.

The behavior of asking 10% of what you want is ridicolous.

Hi,Italiandragon.
I had received $250 bid in last week, and I received $260 bid in this week.
Now auction started from $260.
$260 bid isn't from you if your bid is $160.

The seller has no control over that. You need to take this issue up with Sedo. From everything I can tell, the seller acted well within their rights of the SEDO marketplace.

Yumi, good luck with your auction!

Did you offer $260?
If you offered $260,that's your bid.
If you only offered $160, $260 isn't your bid.
I have received $200 bid and $250 bid in last week.Sorry.

I don't know why it says "your recent offer," but I think the system knows it isn't you, since it says "if you'd like to participate in the auction...," which implies that you are not currently part of it.

There's no way someone can increase your offer amount intentionally in Sedo and then send it to auction, so anything you deem as improper is Sedo's.

I suspect that what Yumi intended originally was that a minimum $60 offer would send the domain to auction, not buy it outright. He countered with $600 to see if he could get you to an actual purchase price, but while you counteroffered with $160, he received better offers in the meantime. He took the $260 bid and sent it to auction.

English doesn't appear to be Yumi's native tongue, which may have contributed to the initial miscommunication of what he had in mind with the $60.

If this is the case, it seems you might owe him an apology, and maybe should have communicated with him privately to sort this out before taking it public.

English is not my native language either, but I think if people want to defend YUMI at any cost, that`s fine. At the end SEDO`auctions are getting similar to Ebay.

I'm just trying to help make sense of the situation. I don't know Yumi, but I think his trader rating of 25 here at NamePros, with no negatives, says a lot about whether he's someone who deserves the benefit of the doubt in this.
