PIQ.com goes for over 70,000usd (caveat if the bidder pays). Are we seeing a two-tier domain market evolving? Short domains 3 letters or less and one word English words being decoupled from the rest of the market and increasing in value at a much greater rate. It feels as if the domain market has matured, swinging between different niches over the years but has settled on these two categories as being substantially worth more than any other. Take Bitcoin and the other top cryptos they cycle in pricing as if they are tethered to each other. . I believe the rope between these two domain categories has been cut from the rest of the market and will behave as a separate market.
