What does Phygital mean to you guys. My understanding is that it is combining the Physical and the Digital . It can be a product or an experience . The article above is a metaverse article that describes Phygital as bringing the digital into the physical. A few of my phygital domains are

PhygitalMarketer.com
PhygitalArtist.com
Phygital.Shopping
Phygital.cx
PhygitalPayments.com
And a few others

Have just got the minimum offer for one of my 'phygital' names at Dan. Have rejected it. So the interest is growing.
That's a great news!
I'm also experiencing more returning visitors to my phygital names landing pages via GA (bots are filtered). No offers yet though.
Everything looks promising so far, not to mention growing media coverage.

Phygital is a big deal and has the unlimited potential to transform how you interact with your prospects and customers. In my next blog, I will do a deep dive into Phygital and explore the many ways the retail industry can benefit.

Noticed a recent trademark application for a 'Phygi' name

https://trademark.trademarkia.com/phygicode-97123712.html
Nice to see this as one of the further term adoption signs. BTW, how do you query their database to find all the trademarks, say, with 'Phygi' substring? I get only exact match results (i.e. none in this case). Or this is rather a paid feature?

P.S. I've got the phygi / soft name in com.
P.P.S. Ouch, someone has listed the exact match domain for the TM at 25 grand - isn't that too harsh? :)

Don't remember exactly where I had seen this. Maybe twitter. I was reminded about it when you had posted about 'Phygi' names being registered.

I had just typed the exact match name direct in their search. I didn't search for phygi. Not sure about paid features I just used the free search service

Yes, I noticed the TM symbol by the name on Twitter and it caught my attention. Looked it up to find they filed in November. Seems they using the .io

Have finally found time to do this. Created the list of 'phygital' domains having live websites on them - 111 out of 2012 domains total, 5.5% end user adoption. Enjoy:

Nice list! It seems that phygital is mainly crowing in Europe and India. We are still missing adoption in the usa
Yes, this is clearly seen in the news feed and Google Trends as well.
And I think high hosting count metric for US might be misguiding - US hosting providers may be just preferred due to the better service level or just as the default option offered by US-based domain registrars.

Thank you for the effort and the list. Hosting doesn't mean much as most of people go for reputable hosting companies and most of them are U.S. based.
Sure!
Agree, as I told, hosting location might have not that tight correlation with the target audience location - although in this case it's quite similar to the 'per extension distribution' (although again, .com doesn't mean US):

The most durable way to get the target audience distribution would be going through each generic extension website and checking that manually - unfortunately, don't have time for this now.

P.S. The live websites' share should be actually lower than in my initial post, as I've used the partially filtered subset of names (without some obviously parked names) in the calculation. Although I don't know what to compare that number against anyway - I wonder, what the current 'live websites per registered domains' metric could be, say, for 'metaverse'? It's obviously not that easy to get in the semi-automated fashion as in this case, but maybe someone has performed the similar analysis based on some representative subset of names?
