I don't seem to have much luck on their forums, so I'll see if anyone here knows.

I've installed, and have been running, phpLD at the root level but want to move it to /directory. Is that difficult? I don't know how to go about doing it. If it isn't that easy, would someone be willing to move the database for me (obviously, keeping all the info intact)? If so, how much would you charge?

Thanks,
Dan

Hey dan_Vt,

To move it simply download all the files from the root directory that pertain to the script "keeping locations intact" (meaning, keep all images in any image folder etc...)

Once you have downloaded the files delete them from the server.

Now, create a new folder called "directory" upload the files keeping the paths(same as above) intact. There is no need to move the database you just need to move the files :)

And that won't affect any of the links? I don't want to have to rebuild over 500 links.

If so I'll give it a try...and if it works I'll happily send you some $NPs!

Thanks,
Dan

I'm running a test of moving phpLD on another domain that isn't used as often and I'm getting an error.

See http://www.burlingtoninformation.com/directory/

Any idea how to fix that?

I just put it back to the way it was (didn't want the dead page out there very long).

The error I was getting is:
Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "main.tpl" in /west/burlingt/public_html/directory/libs/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1088
