That's ridiculous. I wonder how much money the guy makes off of it, in one way or another, to keep him interested after so long. Well, I guess he sure loves doing what he does :)

Bert Monroy is famous in Photoshop circles and has several books on the subject of how to create textures, lighting, etc. The image is amazing, but it doesn't surprise me that he could do it, if anyone. He obviously has a lot of patience. :)

How would we know the difference?
Interesting to note that all his other work doesn't look quite the same quality. :|
I think it is a a photo.

Wouldn't a 3d program be faster to learn and give you a photorealistic outcome?
