Hi Guys,
i bought this off a fellow domainer. I think perfect for the mobile internet & once traffic starts rolling for .mobi, this imo could be huge
In the UK this is the phrase we use for non-contract phones & packages.
That in itself is a huge market

do you use this phrase in the states?
what do you think?

I don't here "pay as you go" in reference to mobile payments, but mobile payment systems are not well advanced here yet.

My first thought to "pay as you go" is in reference to personal finance to help people get out of debt.

Here in the States the more popular term used is 'Pre-Paid"
prepaid phones, prepaid calling cards, etc.,

It's still a nice short catchy name though.

Thanks.
we use the phrase not so much as paying for things on the go, although this opens up a huge area for it potentially.
when we say 'pay as you go' or payg, we mean pay as you go along. ie: pop into a petrol station or phone shop & 'top up' your credit on your phone.
saves a need for contracts & all that crap.
popular with young & old
mmm, you got me thinking, i was just limiting to phone payments, but could be used for paying for everything on the go!
think maybe develop this too. big job though

Too many ideas, not enough time? I know the feeling.

i've heard of pay as you go, it's actually a pretty popular term in the cellular industry for pre-paid phone service, but the acronym payg is never used and would probably require as much branding as a totally new phrase. sense it's big there, good luck with it!

yea pre-paid is said the most often here.... but pay as you go is also said pretty often...

pay as you go is a popular term in U.K, but as for payg.mobi doesn't make sense to me. Maybe TopUp.mobi is better :)

Anyway, good luck!

shame , not a hit in the states :'(
don't think i have the budget to brand it over there! LOL
our markets pretty nice. i think like most of our names, get the bulk reseller hosting & knock up something for most our names. it's what i'm doing now. even 'under development' pages to avoid reverse hijacking

Definitely needs some branding, but its has some great potential IMO.
