Pay for domain name with PayPal account

Hello I have some money in my paypal account and I was wondering can I buy a domain name with the money that in my paypal account? I try to do this but Paypal want me to put in my credit card account, do I have to do this in order to buy a domain name?

I don't think you must put in your credit card number to send money to someone to buy anything.

However, some sellers only accept payments from verified paypal accounts. Paypal need your credit card to verify your identity.

Where are you trying to buy the domain? GoDaddy?

you can register domain using paypal balance or exchange it as np$ so you can register domain here.
no need to put credit card, cc will remove your limitation however.

or you could get one at namecheap.com they acept unverified paypals.

You can buy using Paypal @ Name.com, Godaddy.com, MyDomain.com & Namecheap.com, not sure about which accept unverified Paypal though.

Sure, you can try it at Dynadot. They have grace period for 5 days, if you don't want the name you can delete it.

or you could get one at namecheap.com they acept unverified paypals.

yup namecheap and hostgator accept paypal non-verified so you can try them.

but if you can add then do add credit card as it removes limitation from your account
