Part of HostGator down; check your sites and domains

Just a head's up: a substantial part of Hostgator is having probs, some large servers are affected. If you have hosting there check your sites. Not that you can do anything about it, but if you have material there that's ultra important and the prob persists you may want to migrate content elsewhere.

I have about 25 sites down now and can't get into account. They are working on the prob. I do not know if this affects domain regs there.

My sites just went back up a few minutes ago. Hopefully they stay live long enough for me to switch hosts (just how I wanted to spend my new years, of course).

They've had their chance and blown it too many times now.

EDIT: Signed up with a new host and will be moving sites ASAP! Finally trying out a SSD VPS.
