question Pandora.com and Pandora.net in use

I think this is the first time I've seen two enormously popular and well known companies using the same name in the two top extensions. Pandora radio is using Pandora.com and Pandora jewelry is using Pandora.net.

Maybe this isn't such an odd occurrence but I can't remember if I have ever seen this before with two large companies.

I used to think Pandora jewellery had the .com, though I may be imagining that. I can't see why they'd have ever given it up.

I didn't realize Pandora radio had been around so long but according to Crunchbase they were founded in 2000 with a 1.5 million funding round and have had the .com since at least 2004 from what I can see but probably longer.

DavidWalker.com is a fragrance company with a lot of storefronts in Turkey.
this_username_was_banned redirects to my shorter domain for my business.

Probably not the best example, though.
