status-todo Option to close polls on the sidebar without voting

Why are polls being forced onto the sidebar to be voted on before they are removed from view? Just curious if there's a logical rationale behind it.

It’s just the way that feature was designed, but we agree there should be a way to close them without voting.

We’ve moved this to the Suggestions section for votes in favor of it.

Fortunately, even without that option, the polls are displayed temporarily.

I consider this matter resolved, personally, in the way you've put the polls under their own section now. Or it's been that way for a while, but at least the sidebar is much more condensed. And choices on which polls too. Quite nice.
