Opinions Please - Marketing Domains

I started registering domain names a few months ago, and now have several hundred in my portfolio, across all of the TLDs, and also .tv, .st, .eu, .cn.

So far I've concentrated on learning the ropes at Sedo, which is the only place I'm listing and promoting domains. (Fingers crossed for that first sale!).

I'm keen to hear from ''seasoned pro's'' who have successfully sold a few domains over the last 24 months, on what's currently consider to be their top 5 to 10 Outlets for selling English Language domain names (e.g Sedo, Afternic, Great Domains etc., eBay.com etc., ??)

I'd also like to know which of these ''high profile'' outlets have proved to be the least rewarding to deal with, and why, plus outlets to avoid wasting time on.

If any none US Citizens have discovered legitimate ways in which they can register US Domains (perhaps through a proxy service or agent, for a modest fee) advice on this point would be gratefully received too.

By the way, this is the first online forum of any kind, I've made time to engaged in. (Not quite sure why I'm mentioning this point, but there ya go).

I haven't had much luck on any of the services you mentioned. I managed to sell a domain for a decent price on Ebay, but I did alot of end-user marketing for that one.
Typically I end up selling domains on forums to other domainers for anywhere from $x-xx profit. Not great, but there are a lot of domainers who lose money, so I can at least say I'm in the black

As for .us domains, you cant legitimately own them unless you are a US citizen or conduct business in the US. But you shouldn't let this stop you, because it doesn't stop anyone. There really is no enforcement of these Nexus rules from what I can see. And if you search around, you should be able to find a registrar willing to provide local presence service.
