I see in the extension. Still many of those sites that were sold years ago are parked. So I assume many DOT TVs are held my domainers.

Has anyone attempted to contact a company to sell a DOT TV. Had any success? Who did you speak with : marketing guy, owner? Were they ready to jump all over it. Like yea - I run a Clothing company and I love CLOTHING.TV.

What has been your experience trying to sell to end users.

Sold few to endusers through emailing them.
Works best in smaller companies where you can email decision makers direct. imho

I noticed the one-word industry-defining term for the startup I am working for was available for backorder in .TV. I explained the process of placing a backorder and that it might be necessary to place a bid in an auction. Initially there some interest but when the marketing folks chimed in, they shot it down. The domain eventually dropped and was picked up by a .TV investor.
