I searched out all the threads and there isn't an officially designated .xyz thread so how about this one to cover the subject?

So to start off my first xyz reg is:

May have little value if any but I like short domains as possible that I can get in new extensions and with majority of numbers taken I figured why not for the low reg fee right now. Plus it sorry of rhymes.

Recently? Impressive, hell yes I think they have some value, better than most LLL.XYZ IMO. The question is, how long do we have to hold onto them now, i'm thinking couple of years, maybe 5 I dunno. Numbers say a million and a half registered .xyz, it needs to be like at least 8x or 9x that amount or more before we see any real changes, IMHO. How long is that going to take, if ever? We'll find out.

I got them the first week it came out. The best were taken but still some left to hand reg. I'll hold and watch. It's the only three I bought so I should do fine with xyz
