I use NullNic, but maybe not for long... They have been very good and HAD excellent support untill the last 7 days support just dissapeared..... the server has been down for 7 HOURS NOW... no answer on the phone... If they got hit by the hurricane I can understand, but if this isnt the case. Then they realy have screwed up.

NEVER get hosting from them. No support at all, even by phone. The servers are down. I think the've done a runner. :(

The servers are down you can't make a backup. Luckily I had a backup a few days old.

They only had one. Seems their main site might be on another but not available for public use

I don't think they ordered a seperate server just for their website. I have a feeling they are going through a VPS server thats hosted at ThePlanet.

They're at servermatrix, I know, since I initiailly asked them questions, and one of their co-owners was telling me. Not sure about their main site itself though, all I know is that their resellers/shared were on the same SM server

What other partnerships did they have? And with whom?

Perhaps their current host has a bit of information that some users here could find helpfull.

Yup, they had contracted Rack911 (on WHT it seems) to secure their servers... turns out rack911 did it without being paid upfront, which is highly a questionable story from such a company; I'm sure they have some idea where NullNic's gone to?

Actually it is not questionable at all with Rack911. They usually do work upfront and payment after/if its fixed.

What would have happened with Rack911 is that Nullnic would have contacted them (Steven from Rack911) asking them to fix the server. Rack911 would have fixed the server and as requested payment....then what happened is someone from Nullnic said they'd make payment the next day. Well the next day came and NullNic never made payment. Steven made a post about this on WebHostingTalk someplace..

I can also say that I doubt Steven has any idea where NullNic went as he was acting as a Third Party and Steven would have been contacted via MSN to do the work.

DO NOT consider NullNic theri servers have been down for 3 weeks now and account creation doesn't work. Check out their forum before subscribing. I have never had a host worse than NullNic (well, maybe once). Pretty graphics don't do the trick... THEY ARE AWFUL.

    Two :tu: :tu: for PolurNET

Very intresting. I never expected NullNic to die. But now that they died what other things are we going to find out about this company. As a lession to all don't get fulled by pretty graphics. Sure they looked nice and there plans where pretty much unbeatable.

I wish you all good luck with finding new hosts!
