Hello my NP friends - Got my first good sale this week.

Sold a domain for $450. One that really has not much value to anyone else than the end user buyer. I am very happy about it.

Sure - I have had a few sales but I dont sell names cheap since I just dont think its worth the time sellin gunder $50. I rather let them expire really. But many here know that I have also not focused on selling names but getting them to pay for themselves by taking parking very seriously. And it's working.

It's great to a get a good sale. I'm in the domain club now. That covers now many of my newbie mistakes that have and are expiring. Thanks for all the great threads I have read here.

Cheers,

"Now I am not a newbie anymore" once you realize you will always be new to domains and there is something to learn everyday will you no longer be a newbie. - confucius

yeah - thats why I still after all this time think I am new. The learning curve NEVER stops. Michelangelo went back to school at 80.

+ in this biz. Change is the only constant.

That first three figure sale always feels good.

Glad to here you are working hard on your parking. To many people think that you just park a domain and the money will come.

I've been up for over 36 hours right now tweeking my high traffic domain settings at name drive, and I have pulled many up to 60 and 70% click conversion rates.

Some are now getting a 100% click through.

How do you know this?? Did you do some research or something. And why do you feel you need to tell everyone? He just said he made a sell, not that he profited from the sale.

Ohh, sorry to be blunt but I thought you were trying to steal his shine and I just hate it when people try to knock others down. I always speak up!

Yeah I remember my first mid $xxx sale really started me going as well. That's when I started getting more serious about my domains.

Which was htmltalk.com btw. :)
