Ideally, one would expect this to happen a lot but looks like it's a general pattern if you look at even the .COM sales in other industries. Not more than 50% would be used instantly. Maybe less. It's a pattern. A lot of buyers are defensive and want to keep the domain name away from competitors. Hence, they purchase.
