advice Not getting any sale or inquiry for months. What should I do?

Hi there, I started domaining in 2021.
Since then I had 7 sales ranging from 300$ to 5k. Not that bad!

Now I have a portfolio of around 250 domains and I believe it's better than it was before.

However, since the death of dan.com and changes in Afternic as well, I've seen a significant drop in sales and inquiry.

I initially pointed all my domains at afternic and I was getting much less traffic and only plenty of stalled leads.

Recently I moved my domains to atom WLM mostly with BIN.

But no improvement so far.

Another thing is that on sedo I have zero views on my domain. Is this normal if they aren't pointed there or am I missing something?

What should I do to make sure all my domains are getting traffic from the major marketplaces (Afternic and sedo) and maybe should I switch to MO at least for a while on Atom?

Unfortunately, brandables are not my strong points in my domain portfolio but I feel they are reasonably priced. I feel most of your domains have quality and are correspondingly priced as such so maybe its the general market being quiet for a few months. Maybe the thing we both need to do is to patiently wait it out.

What do you think about the strategy of listing them on Afternic and sedo and having atom landers?

Also what about the zero views on sedo? Is it normal if I'm not pointing them to sedo? I'm wondering why I don't get internal traffic from the marketplace

I actually do that for my whole portfolio. As mentioned just now, I had 2 sales this year Jan and Feb. I would prefer to point my names to Atom due to the lower commission rate compared to Afternic. But to maximize exposure, you could point your names to Atom and list them on Afternic and Sedo too.

I think its normal to get zero views on sedo if you are not pointing them to sedo. My names are pointed to Atom so when I check my views in sedo, they are mostly zero.

2. 250 names is a small portfolio, yet 7 sales in 3,5 years brings you close to 1% already.. (which is the average). For better STR you should have more and better names.
3. Not much you can do to bring more quality traffic.

I'd concentrate on getting better names, improving quality of your portfolio and increading quantity, rather then switching platforms.

Change name server every week or two to
Afternic
Sedo
Atom

so If some stupid atom needs buyer to spend 20 mins open account just make a one in life offer.. well.. guess when not all but may go buy another name

I think at least a share of my portfolio is targeting trending terms but yeah I need to increase the number of listed domains in my portfolio

Unfortunately you need to wait, just like the rest of us. Sometimes it can be a long pause between sales and then two sales happen, sometimes they happen more consistent.

You seem to have a knack with coming up with nice brandables, try regging a few related to hot current trends.

The stalled leads on afternic is normal. It's mostly bots filling out forms and it is very misleading to domainers that don't realize that. When using afternic you can get rid of most bots by using a bin lander.
