Hey everyone,

Expired domains and auctions are part of almost every domainer’s daily routine. We all spend time digging through drops, backorders, and marketplaces.

But I kept wondering:

What about domains that were registered yesterday?

That’s where fresh trends actually start.

So I built a small MVP to explore newly registered domains, mainly to:
- spot trending keywords early
- see which TLDs are getting attention
- understand naming patterns in real time

It’s still early and pretty rough, but the data is 👀

Would really appreciate feedback from experienced domainers here:

Specifically curious about:
- What filters or data would make this more useful for you?
- Would you actually use something like this daily?
- Any features you wish existed when researching domains?

Open to all feedback , positive or critical.

Thanks!

Would you personally use it? If so, what exactly would you use it for?

I use DotDB for all kinds of name stats, including keyword popularity and sometimes trending ideas. But after taking a quick look at your site, I can already tell that showing only names registered ''yesterday'' doesn't make much sense. You can't spot a pattern that way, so it's not very useful. It should at least cover a week, a month, a year, and include a calendar filter so users can choose any given time period. And that's only the starting point.

It's always cool when people create tools - so kudos for that. But I guess it really comes down to whether the ''creator'' is truly the first and most active user. If not, the project is dead on arrival.

i agree with the point that creator should be most active user for such tools. i'm still brainstorming ideas and from your input i just realised i should have set the analytics page as homepage

You should add a filter to hide/ show IDN names.
