aren't .ws domains supposed to be expensive, as advertised on this site: http://website.ws/faq/pricing.dhtml

yet at domainsite.com they are selling for about $8. why the big difference?

also, does google give different weight to different domains? if so, how are the domains ranked?

Those prices are for special names they hold back on like they do with .tv.

Google does not (according to their QnA) rank by extention.
