I searched and didn't see this posted so hopefully not a repost. Also first time i've been to their site, so I dunno if it's their usual prices..I can't see that it is though.

Only bad thing I see is you can only host up to 3 domains per account. May still be good for other people not looking for that though.

But remember, you have to call Canada just to prove that you bought the domains, and its not really cheap except if you live there

I use netfirms, they are a1+

one important thing to note... that hosting is with their ads at the top of all your pages, i dont use their hosting, I use them for domains ofetn though.

How long does it usually take them to get the domain....I reg'd over 48 hrs ago, and still have nothing. Also do they ever even bother to respond to customer service requests??? I have sent 2 and still got nothing.

problem is with their email system. Actually you do not need to call them, just go on their site, say you lost your password, they will send you an email with your confirmation and ftp info and all that.

their emails get blocked, I had the same prob, but when you do this, you will get the info as a lost password request.

I got 1 domain from netfirms. Within 2 days (before dns propgated) it was listed as unregistered so I had to get it from godaddy. They ripped me and when I email them they ignore my email. Very inprofesional. Also live chat leaves.

I already have my confirmation etc.. and my temp home page is set, but when i log in to my account it shows no domains. also i checked the whois of the domain that i reg'd there, and it shows someone else as the owner....how did that happen?

I got a domain at $4.95. They asked me to give them a call but I just reply by email. It's sorted then within two days. I just changed the name servers elsewhere and it works fine. Beware the auto renewal is always on. I asked the support/sales in live chat they said you might email billing to turn off the auto renewal feature.

Well, I will give them one more try by email, then chat and phone...If that does not work ...then after 72 hours I have not recieved a refund, or the domain...then I will report them to ICANN. wow...what a waste of my time they have been.
