Back in the day, if you had a decent name you'd announce it in one of the domain name forums. You'd get inquiries (most not worth the time it would take to reply) but every once in a while someone would make a serious offer. Then the negotiations began.

Today, it's not at all easy. You have to actively seek out, then market to (a website would be good), those people who would be a good fit for your name (provided you're marketing to end-users).

Currently, I'm actively marketing only one domain name to end-users: Sold.us

A great geo in the UK that have around 10 million visitors a year.

I can see there is an increase in .net sales and a good healthy amount regarding Geo's

UK geos are selling for a good amount.
