Need your wisdom my fallow forum friends regarding hosting my video clips site

I am working on a video clips sites
I think I am going to use WMV files
My site will use the gamescript script
Regarding hosting how is Go Daddy?
Since my site will be new and it will take me time to upload movies and get people no need to order from the start a big expensive hosting plan.
But if you have some tips it will be nice.
What about hot linking what can I do?
I am not going to let people upload movies to my site
All the wmv I am going to upload are legal and will be at 320 bit rate

I would recommend someone with unlimited bandwidth, since you will be hosting bandwidth intensive files. I recently heard FastHosts was having an unlimited bandwidth deal, you should check it out.

Godaddy's hosting features are very limited and I've heard a lot of bad things about them. You can probably cross them off the list if you're looking for a good/reliable host.

There is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth. Bandwidth is a finite resource, so be extremely wary of any host offering unlimited bandwidth.

DO NOT go with an unlimited host if you're planning on using high transfer! Believe me, this comes from someone who knows the industry inside out. Unlimited does not exist, period. Anyone who tells you that it does is a liar and have no problem saying that to their face.

I've done some work for a guy who has an account at Godaddy. I must say that for our site, they've been good as far as uptime and service, though sometimes I feel like I know more than their support. Search around for reviews on companies and check things out from that end. There are several hosting forums where you can do this.

Unmetered bandwidth is possible only for the dedicated servers and on shared account it is as dishonest as unlimited. The term unlimited is only a marketing strategy go through the TOS of companies offering unlimited bandwidth and you will find some restrictions after all nothing in the world is unlimited.
