I know in brazil they say relogio when refering to clocks or watches - relogio de pulso is not really used much according to my brazilian friend

So maybe there could be errors in the ovt's software? Finally no one could exactly say where people are looking for (just the big search engines (ovt --> yahoo?)) Could you ask you're friend the translation for a wristwatch/horloge en français? It would be very helpful Thx in advance

It wasn't the meaning to involve any french translation (my fault), I tought "horloge" was widely known/ just wanted to make a comparison.

as colombani said im brazilian (thank u colombani for the compliment)
definitely relogio and "relogios" r much better than "relogiodepulso" and the OVT ill explin y...
when we refer to watches, clocks we use just "relogio", but the high OVT of "relogiodepulso" is cause when we want to buy them (wristwatches) then we type "relogio de pulso" or "relogios de pulso" (it is the plural)
so in this case, even w/ the worse OVT than "relogiodepulso", "relogio" is much better and w/ that OVT it is EVEN better
