JR and Gordon

My 2 favorites to take it all this year. Jr has put alot of pressure on himself though because he has a new team and a much better car. Daytona -1 week away

It was pretty exciting at the end. Glad to see Jr win. That should take some presure off of him.

Gordon was up there, but I think Rick was letting Jimmie and Jeff know on the radio to let Jr win... lol

Pole qualifying tomorrow....

I say #55 M Waltrip will sneak up there again. He was #2 on the speed charts for qualifying today and looked to have the smoothest car on the track.

My Dale Jr. finally got back to victory lane. It's about time...have a feeling he'll be there a lot with his new team. Gordon and Johnson are great teammates to have. :)

Well, Jimmie Johnson is on the Pole for the 50th Daytona 500 and will be starting next to the Toyota of Michael Waltrip.... (my pick to win the pole btw).

Also today, Kurt Busch and Tony "Balonga" Stewart were both handed down 6 race Probation slaps on the wrist for the Smash, Crash and Punch loving they had during the Bud Shootout Practice....

Too many changes now for me ... I was a big fan Back when Rusty Wallace / Big "E" / Dale Jarrett etc... were exchanging paint ;)

I started watching the Bud Shootout the other night though and was completely lost

(I'm wearing my 1999 Dale Jarrett Championship hat right now BTW :guilty: ) Back when the Apparel was decent colors and not UPS crap brown :p

Gatorade Duel 150's are today. 1 pm CT. I think it's on Speed.

Lots of engine changes due to a bad set of lifters and the coating coming off. All Hendrick cars and several other teams that use Hendrick engines all changed motors. Several Toyota's as well, including Gibbs Racing. All the drivers who changed engines will be starting from the back of the field, which really doesn't matter, since it's at Daytona!

Junior looked pretty comfortable in the Hendricks 88, during the Bud Shootout, He ran up front extremely well, Drafted nice as well.

I think a Roush car may compete heavily to win the 500, Matt Kenseth looked good drafting and working with team mates, Carl Edwards may be a bit faster than Kenseth, I expect they will work together sunday in the draft.

I think Smokey, Tony Stewart has a good shot at winning as well.

Kurt Buschs 2 Penske car, Is looking very racy as well.

Can't wait for the 500!

The Hendricks cars looked ok in the Bud Shootout, Gordons 24 car, was real shaky coming out of turn 4, Jimmie Johnson couldn't run the low line well, Some aero tweaking is in order. Possibly spring rubbers for Johnson, will tighten his car up a bit, so he can run the low line.

While the Richard Childress cars didn't look spectacular, I still look for the 29 of Kevin Harvick to have a top five finish sunday.

Dale WHO? lol

He doesn't even need a number. He will soon just be trying to look pretty behind the TV camera. :)

He looks really comfortable in that Hendricks 88 car, He said the COT car is a hand full in his interview after he won the dual.

Kasey Khane looked pretty good in the 2nd dual, As did the 20, It seems as no one wanted to draft with "Michael Waltrip Racing"

A nice win for Hamlin in the 2nd dual.

How did I miss this thread? D-:

Go Elliott Sadler! :)

As the the Daytona 500, I think we'll see Toyota's strength. My darkhorse pick is Dave Blaney.
